When I finished Nancy Werlin’s Impossible, I didn’t expect a sequel, and according to the author’s note, neither did she, but the request for a prequel got her thinking - add a couple more interesting conversations and Unthinkable is the wonderful result. Three acts of destruction and she will be free to leave Faerie, free to die. She barters a deal with the Faerie Queen. She is no longer under the power of the elven lord who originally entrapped her, but she cannot leave Faerie, and she cannot die. Finally, with the wit and courage of her descendant Lucy, Fenella is free - in a way. ![]() For four hundred years, Fenella Scarborough has been trapped in the world of Faerie, watching helplessly as each of her descendents attempts to break the family curse. ![]()
